Wager ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application and related services.
We collect your phone number when you create an account. We use your phone number to verify your identity via one-time passcodes and to send you notifications related to your bets. We also collect information you provide when using the app, including bet details, display names, and profile photos stored locally on your device.
We use your phone number to send you SMS messages including verification codes and bet notifications. We use your bet activity data to provide our service, display your bet history, and calculate your in-app statistics. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
By creating an account with your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from Wager. These messages include one-time verification codes for login and notifications about bets you are involved in. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by deleting your account.
We use Twilio to send SMS messages. Your phone number is shared with Twilio solely for the purpose of message delivery. We use Railway to host our backend services. We do not share your personal information with any other third parties.
We retain your account information and bet history for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at jms.mcgrth@gmail.com.
Wager is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

By downloading or using Wager, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Wager. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.
Wager is a social bet tracking application that allows friends to create, track, and settle friendly bets with each other. Wager does not facilitate gambling for money through our platform. All bets are informal agreements between consenting adults. Wager does not hold, transfer, or process any payments between users.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to use Wager only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. You agree not to use Wager to harass, abuse, or harm other users.
By creating an account, you consent to receive SMS messages from Wager including verification codes and bet notifications. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
Wager is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any disputes between users arising from bets made through the app. All bets are informal agreements between users and Wager has no role in their enforcement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wager shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
